
Nelson is a veteran strategic planner who operated a private brand and innovation consultancy prior to joining Creative Realities. His passion is applying creative thinking backed by business rigor to drive change that builds a company’s future.
Prior to his own company, Nelson held senior roles at TBWA/Chiat/Day and Ogilvy & Mather. His work in brand strategy, human behavior, research and innovations spans 20 years. His dynamic approach and collaborative viewpoint have brought culturally meaningful ideas to a mix of brands across multiple categories, including Levi’s, Genentech and American Express.
Nelson has received numerous Effie Awards and is an active participant in the academic community. He served as an adjunct professor in Columbia University’s Graduate Program in Communications.
